Phase 5 Provider Relief Fund reporting deadline approaches

Dentists who received funds during the fifth phase of the Provider Relief Fund must submit a report on the use of those funds in the Provider Relief Fund Reporting Portal by 11:59 p.m. ET Sept. 30.

The fifth Provider Relief Fund Reporting Period, which has been open since July 1, requires those who received one or more PRF and/or American Rescue Plan Rural payments surpassing $10,000 in the aggregate from Jan. 1 to June 30, 2022, to report on their use of funds.

Originally established in 2020 by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, the Provider Relief Fund allowed dental providers to apply for payments for health care-related expenses or lost revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Providers must return unused funds to the Health Resources & Services Administration within 30 days of submitting a report. To submit a report, visit the PRF Reporting Portal and visit the Returning Funds Webpage for more details and instructions on returning funds to HRSA.

For more resources, visit the PRF Reporting Resources Page.
