Free ADA webinar reveals pandemic’s effect on dentists’ net income

The ADA will present a free ADA webinar Sept. 2 that will present the findings of a new research brief, “How Did the COVID-19 Pandemic Affect Dentist Earnings?” from the ADA’s Health Policy Institute .

The webinar will be streamed at noon Central time and is the first time an analysis has been presented about the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the net income of dentists.

This webinar will highlight the difference in net income in 2020 compared to 2019, including hours worked, as well as reveal how specialist dentists fared, the impact on female dentists and how much government relief dentists received. There will be time for audience Q&A. No continuing education credit will be awarded for attending the webinar.

Marko Vujicic, Ph.D., chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute, co-authored the brief and will lead the webinar.
