DQA presenting free March webinar on quality measurement, improvement
The Dental Quality Alliance is presenting a free webinar in late March in its series on quality measurement and improvement in which participants will learn about different programs that have applied data-driven strategies to improve the quality of oral health care.
Quality Measurement 104: Measurement in Action - Data Driven Quality Improvement Strategies will stream March 24 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Central time.
The webinar speakers are Jesley C. Ruff, D.D.S., and Amit Acharya, B.D.S., Ph.D.
Dr. Ruff is on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Collaborative for HealthCare Quality and with Forward Dental, an integrated oral health partnership model located in Wisconsin.
Dr. Acharya is the system vice president for research at the Advocate Aurora Research Institute and the chief research officer of Advocate Aurora Health, based in Wisconsin and Illinois. He also currently serves as the chair of the clinical informatics subcommittee of the ADA's Standards Committee on Dental Informatics.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to learn about data-driven strategies that have demonstrated improved outcomes; understand the improvement goals and implementation strategy of Wisconsin's Marshfield Clinic Health System's dental quality improvement initiative; and discover the key components of providing personalized care with the implementation of caries risk assessment.
