Health equity panel at SmileCon

The ADA and American Dental Education Association are hosting a panel on health equity during SmileCon.

 Health Equity Panel (2132) will take place Oct. 12 from 2-3 p.m. PT in the Banyan B Level 3 at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center.

The course will be moderated by Jennifer Fisher, J.D., ADA congressional lobbyist, and will discuss the health equity policy landscape and help attendees identify strategies to advance equity in oral health.

Speakers include Nathalia Garcia, D.D.S., chair, Applied Dental Medicine Department, Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine; Sonia T. Griffith, D.D.S., executive director, Virgin Islands Dental Association; and Anna M. Munne, D.D.S., president, Diverse Dental Society.
