Learn how to take digital photographs in your practice
In today’s world of visual communication, dental photographs are imperative in a dental practice.
The Digital Photography Workshop (2209) , on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m.-noon at Breakers L in the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center, will show attendees that beautiful dental photographs are not that difficult to achieve with the right technique and equipment.
Worth three hours of continuing education, the course will be taught by Richard Young, D.D.S., an assistant professor of general dentistry at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He is known for his expertise in both dental photography and minimally invasive dentistry.
Learning objectives for the course include how to position a patient, how to use mirrors and cheek retractors, which cameras to buy, and how to incorporate photos into the new patient experience. In essence: how to “make” a great photo. Dr. Young will also teach simplified portrait techniques.
The fee is $255 for dentists, dental students and team members.
