ADASRI seeks comments for guideline on restorative treatments for caries lesions
The ADA Science & Research Institute invites ADA members to share their expertise for a guideline that recommends which direct restorative materials and caries removal approaches to use for primary and permanent teeth.
A panel of subject matter experts and ADASRI methodologists are developing the clinical practice guideline and asking the public to review and comment on its recommendation statements, which were informed by a systematic review of the best available scientific evidence.
These statements are available to view online at ADA.org/restorative.
Comments are due by Aug. 31. The panel and methodologists will review them as they further develop the guideline, which is expected to be published next year with an accompanying systematic review.
To learn more and submit comments, visit ADA.org/restorative or email ADASRI at SRI@ADA.org.
