Women in Dentistry Leadership Series shares career tips, solutions for breaking down barriers
Oct. 13, 14 courses also offer networking opportunities
This year's Women in Dentistry Leadership Series is designed to amplify the influence of women in dentistry with programming that highlights their viewpoints on the subjects that matter most to them professionally and personally.
During the course You Do You(ish): Unleash your Authentic Superpowers to Get the Career you Deserve, (5125) Erin Hatzikostas, the former CEO of PayFlex, will teach participants how to use their authenticity as a strategy for success. She will also share steps on how to create lasting connection so that dentists and dental team members can cultivate trust amongst staff and with patients.
The course will take place Oct. 13 from 10-11:30 a.m. Central in Grand Ballroom B for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit. It will be followed with an hour of networking from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. and includes a meet-and-greet with Ms. Hatzikostas. The first 100 attendees will also receive a copy of You Do You(ish).
During the course, If You Can't Say Something Nice?: Working Together Better!! (6123), Sarita Maybin, a motivational speaker and author, will share real stories and solutions on the best ways to break down barriers and embrace positivity so that everyone can work better together. In more than 20 years as a communication expert, Ms. Maybin has spoken around the world and on the prestigious TEDx stage and is also the author of the books If You Can't Say Something Nice, What DO You Say? and Say What You Mean in a Nice Way.
The course will take place Oct. 14 from 9-10:30 a.m. Central in Grand Ballroom B for 1.5 CE hours. It will be followed with an hour of networking from 10:45-11:45 a.m. and includes a meet-and-greet with Ms. Maybin. The first 100 attendees will also receive a copy of her latest book.
