Phase 4 Provider Relief Fund reporting deadline is March 31

Dentists who received funds during the fourth phase of the Provider Relief Fund have until 11:59 p.m. ET March 31 to submit a report on the use of those funds in the Provider Relief Fund Reporting Portal .

Phase 4 reporting will require any dentist who received one or more payments totaling greater than $10,000 in the aggregate from the Provider Relief Fund between July 1-Dec. 31, 2021, to submit reports.

The Provider Relief Fund was established by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act in 2020 and allowed dental providers to apply for payments made for health care-related expenses or lost revenue attributable to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to submit reports, providers must first register in the PRF Reporting Portal, according to the Health Resources and Services Administration. After submitting their report, providers must return any unused funds from Phase 4 within 30 days after the end of the reporting period. For more information on returning all or a portion of payments via automatic transfer or check, visit the PRF Reporting Portal.

For  assistance with their reports, providers should visit the PRF Reporting Requirements and Auditing webpage.
