ADA Standards Program invites interested parties to upcoming meetings

...

Those interested in developing dental standards that ensure product safety and efficacy and offer information on new and emerging technologies can attend upcoming meetings of the American Dental Association’s Standards Program.

The ADA Standards Program will hold working group meetings on a variety of topics related to national and international dental product and informatics standards. The meetings will take place in person March 11-13 at the Marriott Warehouse Arts District Hotel in New Orleans, with a hybrid Oversight Committee meeting March 13.

Meetings include developing standards on topics that impact the practice of dentistry, from curing lights and toothpaste to computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing and artificial and augmented intelligence. Attendees must register for the meetings, which are free to attend, and discounted hotel reservations are available.

The ADA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute to develop American National Standards for products and information technology used by dental professionals and consumers and provide the U.S. vote on international dental standards. ADA standards are developed by more than 60 working groups comprised of over 800 volunteers who are experts in their fields.
