Harvard dental school to host upcoming Medicare webinar

The Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s Office of Global and Community Health will host an upcoming webinar exploring the intersection of Medicare, Medicare Advantage and oral health policy. 

The Oct. 16 event will feature two distinguished speakers. David Blumenthal, M.D., professor of practice in Public Health and Health Policy at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, will present “An Overview of Medicare Advantage: Trends, Structure and Impact on Beneficiaries.” Natalia Chalmers, D.D.S., Ph.D., chief dental officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, will discuss “CMS Oral Health Policy Updates and Access to Dental Services Under Medicare Advantage.”

Jane Barrow, executive director of the Initiative to Integrate Oral Health and Medicine and director of Global and Community Health at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, will moderate the discussion.
