Former ADA vice president dies at 71

Former ADA Vice President Vincent U. Rapini Jr., D.D.S., died Jan. 18 at the age of 71.

Dr. Rapini was vice president from 2019 to 2021 after serving as a delegate to the ADA House of Delegates from 2011 to 2019. He also was a past president of the Missouri Dental Association and Greater St. Louis Dental Society.

He is survived by his two children, two grandsons, three siblings and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 40 years, Patricia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Evangelical Full Gospel Assembly Church or Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Dr. Rapini’s honor.
