JADA’s impact factor rises to 3.5
Measure illustrates how often journal is cited

The Journal of the American Dental Association’s impact factor has risen from 3.1 to 3.5, according to Clarivate’s Journal Citation Reports for 2024, which were released in June.
Impact factors are based on the number of times a journal’s articles are cited.
“We are excited to see the 2024 JADA impact factor rise to 3.5, which reflects the quality of manuscripts being published and presented to the readership,” Editor-in-Chief Tim Wright, D.D.S., said. “The Journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge related to oral health, and we look forward to another great year of presenting impactful manuscripts and valuable information.”
