SmileCon 2025 to offer curated learning experiences for entire team

Meeting will equip dentists, staff with skills to thrive in evolving industry

SmileCon 2025 will offer continuing education in a variety of formats, including presentations, hands-on activities and master classes.

Through cutting-edge continuing education, curated learning experiences and a focus on team-based care, SmileCon 2025 will equip dentists and their teams with skills and strategies to thrive in an evolving industry.

“At SmileCon, every attendee will find value,” said Shane Ricci, D.D.S., chair of the ADA Council on Dental Practice. “Unlike other events that primarily cater to dentists, SmileCon will provide curated learning tracks for general dentists, hygienists, assistants and office managers — ensuring every role is empowered to contribute to practice success.”

CE courses will come in a variety of formats, including presentations, hands-on activities and master classes, allowing dental professionals to learn their way and go beyond the surface of the topics that interest them most. Courses will cover clinical and legal topics, as well as medical-dental integration, patient safety and infection control, pediatrics, periodontics, practice management, technology, and wellness.

“With a growing emphasis on whole-body health, SmileCon will deliver in-depth sessions on medical-dental integration, covering interdisciplinary collaboration, systemic health considerations and medical-dental partnerships, ensuring attendees stay ahead of evolving care models,” Dr. Ricci said.

Course and speaker details are available in the Agenda Builder at SmileCon.org. Pre-registration is required for hands-on activities and master classes and suggested for presentations to guarantee a seat.

Pass options for the meeting — taking place Oct. 23-25 in Washington, D.C. — include the Smile Pass, which gives holders access to all three days of SmileCon, as well as one- and two-day passes. All passes allow holders to visit Dental Central and attend presentations.

New this year, those with a Smile Pass can pay a flat fee for a CE add-on that includes all master classes and most hands-on activities. Any pass holder can purchase each course individually.

Also new this year is a discount for groups who register for SmileCon together from the same practice. When at least three dentists or team members purchase Smile Passes in a single transaction, they will each receive a discount.
