American Certifying Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology applies for national certifying board recognition
Deadline to comment on application is 5 p.m. CST Nov. 13
Interested parties have until 5 p.m. CST Nov. 13 to submit comments on the American Certifying Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology’s request to be recognized as the national certifying board for that dental specialty.
The board’s application is available on the National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying Boards webpage.
All comments must be objective and pertain only to the applicant’s compliance with the ADA Requirements for Recognition of National Certifying Boards for Dental Specialists. The commission’s webpage includes guidelines for submitting comments to help parties interpret the requirements.
The commission will disregard comments that include protected health information or personally identifiable information, violate the ADA Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct, or contain any unprofessional remarks.
If the commission receives form letters with duplicate content signed by different individuals, it will count them as one letter signed by multiple submitters.
All comments must be submitted via email to nationalcommission@ada.org and should be addressed to Nick Salerno, director of the commission.
