Alabama dentists can continue Botox procedures

The Alabama Board of Dental Examiners decided that dentists in the state can continue to administer Botox to patients.

The decision follows several hearings of deliberation on limiting the areas in which dentists could administer the injections. According to WBRC, the board released a draft indicating that dentists can continue to perform Botox injections on various areas of the face and neck for cosmetic and medical reasons.

“Many dentists believe this is the right decision, but they still seek more from the board,” the article states.
