Biden administration launches 'Day of Action' to boost student loans program

The White House recently hosted the SAVE Day of Action to encourage enrollment in the Saving on a Valuable Education Plan.

Under the SAVE Plan, monthly student loan payments could be as low as $0 for low-income borrowers and loans may be written off completely after 10 years. The SAVE Day of Action, which took place March 27, worked to promote the SAVE Plan and increase enrollment over the coming months. 

The SAVE Day of Action included a kickoff event led by senior administration officials at the White House, a video highlighting the impact of the SAVE Plan, and participation by more than 40 entities, including federal agencies, private sector institutions, labor unions and nonprofits.
