Community college offers free dental care to students through partnership 

Antelope Valley College, in northern Los Angeles County in California, has a partnership with a clinic about 15 minutes away from campus.

All students — with or without insurance and regardless of their legal status — can get a voucher for dental work every semester.

These vouchers let students receive free X-rays, oral exams, teeth cleanings and other basic services.

For students without cars, the college also provides bus passes.

Other area colleges, like Long Beach City College, have also explored helping its students get subsidized dental care.
