First technical college in state offers advanced dental certificate
Chippewa Valley Technical College has become the first in Wisconsin to offer an advanced dental certificate.
The school has added an advanced technical certificate in expanded function dental auxiliary, which will require participating students to take an eight-week course in April.
According to Pam Entorf, Chippewa Valley Technical College's director for dental hygiene and assisting, offering this certificate will help alleviate the community's workforce shortage because "by getting this additional training they can really help out at the office."
