Fisher-Price recalls infant swings following deaths
Fisher-Price announced that it has recalled more than 2 million of its Snuga Swings for infants.
The recalls came after reports of five suffocation-related deaths between 2012 and 2022 in infants aged one to three months, according to a news report from NPR.
Although Fisher-Price has suggested removing the headrest and body support insert from the seat pad in order to continue using the infant swing, parents were strongly advised to return the product for a partial refund to avoid putting their infants at risk of death.
