Future dentists awarded $270,000 in scholarships

United Concordia Dental is awarding nearly 40 dental and dental hygiene students across the country $270,000 in scholarships for the 2023-24 school year.  

Through the scholarships, United Concordia aims to make dental education more accessible and increase diversity in the oral health workforce.

“Through this funding, we hope to alleviate some of the financial stress for students pursuing a career in the dental field so they can better focus on achieving their academic and career goals,” said Ed Shellard, D.M.D., president and CEO of United Concordia.
