The experts cited in the article suggested that the quantity of candy enjoyed on the holiday should also be small enough that there aren’t leftovers for days beyond the holiday and stressed the importance of keeping up with good oral hygiene practices.

The experts encouraged individuals to drink plenty of water during and following candy consumption and to opt for healthier meals containing whole fruits and vegetables.
