Hydrogen peroxide mouthwash recalled
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Feb. 29 a nationwide recall for Heritage Store Hydrogen Peroxide Mouthwash due to a potential poisoning risk for children.
The mouthwash lacks the child-resistant packaging required for products containing a certain concentration of ethanol. Consumers are advised to immediately place the mouthwash out of reach of children.
The recalled flavors, eucalyptus mint and wintermint were sold in brown bottles with a white lid, featuring a pink and white label with the Heritage Store logo. The mouthwash has been sold in various stores and online platforms from October 2010 to December 2023.
