Individual arrested following unlicensed root canal
A woman posing as a dentist has been charged after performing a root canal without the necessary qualifications.
The patient involved in the unlicensed root canal experienced severe pain following the procedure in February, according to a news report from Click 2 Houston. The unlicensed individual was arrested on violation of the Texas Dentistry Act.
Since the procedure, the patient has undergone treatment with a licensed dentist to repair the damage but has continued to lack sensation in the left side of her face.
