Johnsonville sausage recalled after pieces of rubber found

Salm Partners LLC is recalling about 35,430 pounds of Johnsonville turkey kielbasa sausage that may be contaminated with pieces of rubber.

The company received complaints from consumers who reported they found pieces of rubber in the sausages. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions or injury caused by consumption of these products.

The affected products include 12-ounce vacuum-packed packages containing a single piece of Johnsonville Polish kielbasa turkey sausage, with best-by dates of May 17, 2024, and May 18, 2024. They were produced Oct. 30-31, 2023, and shipped to retail locations nationwide. They bear establishment number “P-32009” on the side of their packaging.
