Delta Dental of Tennessee offers free dental care to children
As part of Kids Dental Day, Delta Dental of Tennessee has partnered with the Nashville Sounds, Meharry, Neighborhood Health, cityCurrent and Smaritan’s Feet to offer free dental care to children.
According to a report from NewsChannel 5 Nashville, tooth decay may be one of the most common chronic conditions among children, thereby influencing their quality of life and school performance.
Those involved in the program hope the provision of free dental screenings and cleanings can reach those who don’t typically have access to dental care.
