Nearly 900,000 popular tea bags recalled
Nearly 900,000 tea bags by popular tea brand Yogi are being recalled due to a detectable amount of pesticide on the product, according to an enforcement report by the Food and Drug Administration.
The echinacea immune support tea bags are sold in stores across the country and were first recalled by East West Tea Company in Oregon. The product has 16 tea bags per pack and four packs per box.
The Class III recall means that using the product is not likely to cause adverse health consequences, the FDA says. A full list of affected lots is available on the FDA's website.
