No link between COVID-19 vaccines, miscarriage found

COVID-19 vaccines may not be associated with miscarriage in early pregnancy.
In a case-control study published in Obstetrics & Gynecology, investigators examined the medical records of 888 pregnant patients — 296 of whom experienced miscarriage between six and 20 weeks of gestation. They tracked vaccine exposure in early pregnancy.
The investigators identified no statistically significant correlation between COVID-19 vaccination and miscarriage, representing no increased risk following vaccination.
The findings supported the safety of COVID-19 vaccination among pregnant women.
