Patients in Ecuador receive free dental services

Aspen Dental and International Medical Relief joined forces to treat more than 280 patients in Quito, Ecuador, offering services like dental consultations, cleanings, fluoride treatments and digital denture scans. The use of advanced 3D-printing technology allowed for the creation and shipment of dentures back to patients in Ecuador, ensuring ongoing support.

The collaborative effort was part of Aspen Dental's Overseas Outreach program. Aspen Dental has a network of more than 1,000 locations nationwide.

International Medical Relief is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides health care to underserved people around the world. They recruit medical, dental and surgical teams and offer short-term assignments for volunteer doctors, dentists and other health care professionals, as well as nonmedical volunteers, to conduct medical clinics in areas where care is limited or difficult to obtain.
