Simply Fresh voluntarily recalls black bean dip
Simply Fresh LLC is voluntarily recalling its Rojo’s Black Bean 6 Layer Dip, said the Food and Drug Administration, which “does not endorse either the product or the company.”
This product used the cotija cheese from Rizo Lopez Foods, Inc., which was recalled due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
The product is only sold at Costco. A total of 7,350 cases were distributed to stores in Alabama, Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington and Utah.
