DataSpring, powered by CAQH, seeks dental providers for 2026 index

Survey tracks adoption of electronic administrative transactions

...

DataSpring, powered by CAQH, is calling for dental providers to participate in its 2026 index.

The DataSpring Index, powered by CAQH, is the only industry benchmarking tool that tracks and reports progress on the adoption of electronic administrative transactions and the possible savings associated with making the switch from manual.

The 2025 index report, which consists of data from 2024, found the dental industry spent about $6.6 billion on 5.2 billion administrative transactions, with an estimated $1.9 billion in cost savings available. The report highlighted increased automation in claim submissions while identifying additional opportunities to automate claim payments and remittance advice. Providers continue to absorb most manual labor and time costs, according to the report.

The deadline for participating in the 2026 index is Aug. 3. Providers can complete the survey online or through a form that can be emailed to insights@dataspring.com.
